Yousuf al-Qaradawi, one of the most important Sunni clerics in the world, boycotted an interfaith conference hosted by the International Union of Muslim Scholars in Doha, Qatar, on Tuesday because of the presence of Jewish participants, according to the country’s Al Arab daily.

He is very influential though. He has a large following.

He visited London a few years ago and a lot of people protested his remarks about gays (they should be thrown off cliffs)

It's just that Muslims are always saying it's not Jews they have a problem with - it's Israelis or 'zionists' - but this influential cleric is making it about ALL Jews.

A lot of people will be swayed by his views.
