Sun asks Pakistani investors to explore business opportunities in western China

ISLAMABAD: Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Sun Weidong has said Pakistani investors should take benefit of huge investment opportunities in western China.
Addressing a seminar on Pakistan Council on China (PCC) at a local hotel, he said China is keen to bring more benefits of its progress with neighbours. China was determined to treat neighbours as partners so that they could feel safe as through better cooperation both can prosper.

China has developed Satellite System that would help Pakistan in weather and disasters forecast.

He said Pakistan and China enjoy mutual trust and both of them treat each-other equally. China would continue supporting Pakistan's counter-terrorism endeavours and fighting with the evil forces as both countries were the victims of terrorism.

"There is a need to push up high level visit for enhancing bilateral relations. China supports more bilateral trade, enhanced people to people contacts and like to see a prosperous Pakistan," he told a questioner.

He said China has been pursuing the policy of co-existence and non-interference in the affairs of other countries. China and India have decided to resolve their disputes through negotiations as China wants to focus on development.

Answering a question, he said China wants peaceful coexistence with its neighbours including India.

Next year new developments would happen in Afghanistan.

China wants to explore business opportunities from everywhere.

The benefits of another trade corridor connecting China with India and Bangladesh will benefit all the South Asian countries, he said.
