I think MK, has been over reacting. It isn't Police or ranger's fault, but those who protect the criminals, don't let police to enter their area. Due to this behavior police and rangers have become a bit scared of losing their jobs, and thats why they shown irresponsibility on this occasion so i feel, it is the fault of rulers who are Corrupt & criminals

Everyday or atleast 4 days a week there are bomb blasts in NWFP no one talks about that or there is no sympathies for them but this Karachi bombing is on all channels like this is the first time a bomb have went off in Pakistan we condemn all blast in Pakistan..But this particular bomb blast and destruction of markets by local men/boys of Karachi both are related there is no TTP involved in it but according to one security analyst the same way markets were burned in China a few years back if i am not wrong and same type of chemicals were used to burn them, he said its similar in nature possibility of same chemicals used as was seized in Waziristan. About bomb blast who removed the security from that procession? i think it comes under Sindh Govt. So no need to babble and rant about it These Thugs knew that and whats so great about building market their demand of 3 billion rupees from Federal Govt in the name of this mess is understood, that how we'll get 3 billion in the name bomb blast and complete market destruction..Nice try who can invent this horrific drama and execute the answer is every one knows i am even sick to write it here...3 billion rupees while constructing market would take less than 20 Million rupees. To me both external and Internal hand is involved joint partnership i would say..

ok two things i don't understand! there is a bomb blast in every city of pakistan but karachi stays safe! reason chor kaay ghaar chori kon karaagaa (chor terrorist is MQM)

but then the government announces Local Body system will be abolished! & there is a sucide blast in ashura procession! while the procession moves on....

the BIG question is if it is taliban they blow up and disappear not stay to burn things! who can be the one behind burning when MQM has a such a strong hold in karachi that nothing can ever happen!

If this is such an over reaching government conspiracy why do you think it would release CCTV footage so quickly. Now it turns out those people were dressed in black and the gov supposedly not to upset Shia sensibilities decided to hold back the guns. The mobs should have been shot at immediately once the burning started. Those people certainly didn't look like mourners from their behavior. Demand a proper investigation to reveal the causes of failure in security. People responsible for it should be fired whether its from the police or the ruling clique.

As for those people shouting why only Karachi has been highlighted so much, get it in your head that this is one of the incidents that have occurred only a small number of times in the past. The norm in media has always been to highlight the rarer events over ones that happen more regularly, and doesn't have anything to do with the supposed conspiracies.

The attitude of some here is quite pathetic. Instead of being thankful that at least some part of Pakistan has remained safe, people now question why it should be safe. Will you become happy once this part also goes up in flames.

I dont know if anyone watched the talat show today with ssp, mustafa kamal and dr farid pracha. In the show pracha who is jamat-e-islami member accused mqm for setting fire on bolton market. I mean how stupid can you be. Most of the people there are mqm supporters. Plus city gov have abig tax revenue from this place. And why would mqm release the whole camera videos if they were behind it. Mqm have worked so hard as I have seen on the television and this is what they get from this party. I am not any political member or neither do I support them. But i mean this is the worst time for somone to bring up conspiracy theories and allegation with no evidence what so ever. Stupid jamat seriously.

And mustafa kamal apologized for what he said. That is not somehthing you see every day, month or year in pakistan. just yesterday when ppp spokesman said he wanted to seperate sindh from pakistan after bhutto death, later they told that he was emotional. So stop with this. Live together.

I dont know about you guys but I really dont believe its mqm. Sure they have had some cases back in the past but this. Their people were chosen for seats in the parliament from this sector in karachi with 67% or something. Its their own people.
