The A380 already is the largest passenger plane in the world and not many know that an even bigger version is in development. Airports worldwide are on their limit but the market is growing. Airlines can only realize such growth with massive airplanes. The A380 is the global coreproduct, but airlines demand even more bigger airlines.
Lufthansa, Air France and also Singapore Airlines have great interest in the A380-900. That model is long planned and will enter service around 2020. It will be roughly 80m long and have a capacity for up to 960 passengers. Thats almost 100 more than the normal A380-800.
With its maximal launch weight of 590 tons it will reach the same region as the Antonov 225.
It will be really exciting to bring this into reality. But i can also evryone tell, if you have the chance to fly A380, then do it. Its really a great experience. The place inside is enormous, it is not just big but also the fastest airliner in service right now with a top speed of 1020km/h. ts range is also unrivaled.
