thats up on you people design, the next upgrade will be done.

The modernisation works will include the replacement of the submarine’s entire sonar suite, periscope systems, command and control system, radar and electronic support systems. HAVELSAN- and ASELSAN-made systems will also be exported as part of the project.

Under the project, STM will make modifications on the pressure hull, the most critical structure in a submarine, by carrying out system-to-system and platform-to-system integrations for various systems, to be provided by local and foreign companies.

Exocet's were there from day one, so was hoping for some new turkish goodies.

You are more likely to witness Harbah integration with Agosta 90B's than any of the Turkish missiles, which are still in the development phase for surface ship-based launch systems.

I believe SM39 Exocet will be retained, its still very capable.

I hope they take Harbah to the next stage - encapsulated Harbah instead of CM-708UNB for the Hangor-class.
but Harba is heavy and bigger missile being a derivative of surface launched Babur Missile, IF PN decide to integrated it with Hangor Class submarines than sub might be able to carry less number of missiles than the standard configuration as this will add two different types of missiles beside torpedo and mines, I would rather prefer more Babur-III in conventional land attack and anti ship role than adopting Harba in this role

In that case, stick with CM-708UNB for the Hangor-class and SM39 Exocet for the Khalid-class.

Babur III, with its current range, is a pseudo second strike capability considering the depth/size of India. Enhancements must be made to increase range significantly before actual deployment on Hangor-class and possibly Khalid-class.

I suspect the designation change from Babur to Harbah for the surface-ship launched variant has something to do with usage of a conventional warhead (and no nuclear warhead).

The first deployment platform (Azmat Block-II) and (as per Bratva) range of 300 km adds to this theory.

Agosta 90b = Khalid class
Little Correction here
There is nothing like "Khalid Class"
Agosta 90B = 1) HAMZA 2) SAAD 3) KHALID

The Article was written by some ill informed guy who don't know much about the matter.
For example using the old name of the french company "Direction des Constructions Navales Services (DCNS)" it's changed to "Naval Group" about a year ago.
Now its up to the reader to believe or not what is mentioned in the article.
