Starship Super Heavy Orbital Launch Thread

Then WHY are they still here?

Chinese scientists are already leaving the US in droves.

But some are still making rockets for SpaceX but not for China, as you said. :D

You realize you have to be a US citizen to work for SpaceX right?

Chinese scientists in the US immigrate to China and get Chinese citizenship.

Congrats to SpaceX for even trying something new and exciting. Pakistan Defence Forum isn't really an ideal place to discuss science and technology matters. Those who didn't try will mock you, those who tried will reach mars someday.

They are not going to China or anywhere you simp

Certainly not in high numbers. Just the ones the Chinese government threw a lot of money at.

That is how every cycle of product improvement works. The next one will be better. Such is life at the leading edge of complex technologies. It is not the called as the "bleeding edge" just as a joke.

really I thought it was a private company

The NASA chief was likely being sarcastic. Remember NASA's SLS not only lifted off on its maiden flight, it then launched spacecraft, the spacecraft circled the moon multiple times, and then landed safely in the ocean.

remember this a few months ago..

people were calling the SLS a "wasted effort" if the Starship works.

should stick with NASA. Starship may be reliable enough for cargo in 5 years but not for manned missions, by that time China should have already established its moon colony and started helium mining on the moon surface, the overly obsession of cheap reusable rockets will become questionable!
I was under the impression that even NASA hired lots of H1B Indians..
