Stand By F-16 fighter jets at benazir/chaklala airport

Hi there)I have been told by my friend that we have always some fully loaded F-16 stand by at chaklala/benazir airport vicinity to counter indian airforce threat? Is that true?

Also about two hours ago i saw a F-16 taking off from the vicinity of chaklala/benazir bhutto airport and later started circling over my colony(i live pretty close to runway) so that F-16 part of that stand by team or just arrived from some other PAF base to rehearse for 6th September?

A number of jets are always ready to lock n roll for any emergency situation to intercept on every operational base of Pakistan Air Force.

for rehearsals, to cut cost of going back and fourth from sargodha everyday.

We do have Sams and MRAPs loaded with AA Guns.

During hostilities, a detachment is usualy deployed in Chaklala. Last time i witnessed such was in 2002.
Presently it would be in line with Victory day celebrations as there will also be a static display at the base.

No Fighter jet standing on Chaklala Airbase not even for rehearsal... they're coming from other bases particular Sargoda... No Fighter jet allowed on Chaklala Airbase.

Well they are good for intruders but they are at mercy of IAF in full fledge war due to numbers and quality

Mushaf is more closer to the border than Rwp/Isb so any intruding aircraft first has to face Mushaf ADAs. Plus Rwp/Isb has protection cover from multiple directions from near by bases like Kamra, Peshawar and even Mianwali if ever required.
