Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukherjee, Arjun Rampal and Isha Koppikar will perform here Dec 10 to campaign for the world's largest mangrove Sundarbans as one of the seven wonders of the world.

"The Bollywood stars will perform and vote to select the seven wonders at the Army Stadium. Bangladeshi private television channel Boishakhi TV will telecast the event," Swapan Chowdhury, chairman of Ontor Showbiz which signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the channel, announced Thursday.

Bollywood singer Niraj Sreedhar, choreographer Ganesh Hedge, and Bangladeshi movie star Shakib Khan, singer Kumar Biswajit and dancer Prantor will also perform at the six-hour show.

King Khan and his co-performers will arrive here a day earlier.

"This event will be a milestone in the realm of entertainment in Bangladesh and we are very excited as well as delighted to be a part of this," Manjurul Ahsan Bulbul, CEO and editor-in-chief of Boishakhi TV was quoted as saying by The Daily Star.

Let Allah judge who is a good Muslim or not.

I know that God reads the human mind. He knows who is good and who is bad. May be, one man who has committed so many sins can be a beloved person to the God just because of having a beautiful soul or for feeling remorse or for doing anything good.

Actually, there, by "Good Muslim", I meant "Good Responsible Muslim" that is Muslims hvae some other great responsibilities showed by Allah than acting and dancing. As like "atheists are half philosopher" (who failed to find out the meaning of life) a good man also can be half Muslim for not doing his responsible works. Just imagine, someday, SK will quit acting and then become very good responsible Muslim, how his fans will response and whether his popularity will increase or decrease. I wonder why MJ took Islam, may be he got better meaning of life in Islam. Also I know why people show so many logics against what God said, because if they become agreed with God then he will have to leave his comfortable materialistic life.

Whats wrong being a fan of SRK? Just because we don't like Indian way of dealing with us and disagree with them on fundamental levels, doesn't mean we have to hate them as a whole. Personally, I am not a fan of bollywood, but theres a large population within us who are.

শাহরুখ খানের অনুষ্ঠানে শাকিব খান যাচ্ছেন না—এমনটিই জানিয়েছেন নায়ক। একই স্টেজে শাহরুখ খান আর শাকিব খান নাচবেন বলে যে খবর পাওয়া গিয়েছিল সে বিষয়ে শাহরুখ খান আপত্তি তোলায় শাকিব খান অনুষ্ঠানে না যাওয়ার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছেন। যদিও নায়ক বলছেন ভিন্নকথা। শাকিব বিভিন্ন মিডিয়ায় বলেছেন, তার শুটিং আছে। আর এ ধরনের একটি অনুষ্ঠানে অংশ নিতে হলে পর্যাপ্ত রিহার্সেল দরকার। যেটা তিনি করতে পারবেন না। তাছাড়া তাকে তার প্রযোজক পরিচালকরাও শুটিং রেখে এ অনুষ্ঠানে অংশ নিতে দেবেন না। যে কারণে তিনি অনুষ্ঠানে না যাওয়ার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছেন। এদিকে স্বাধীনতার মাসে ভারতীয় সংস্কৃতির এমন বর্ণাঢ্য আয়োজনের বিরুদ্ধে অবস্থান নিয়েছেন বেশ কয়েকটি সংগঠন। তাদের সঙ্গে রয়েছেন শিল্পী সমাজের কিছু অংশ। মাহমুদুজ্জামান বাবু, আসিফ আকবর থেকে শুরু করে হালের মুহিনরাও এ অনুষ্ঠানের বিরুদ্ধে অবস্থান নিয়েছেন। মাহমুদুজ্জামান বাবু বলেন, শতকোটি টাকার বাণিজ্য নিয়ে এ অনুষ্ঠানটি হচ্ছে। অথচ এ দেশের অনেক বরেণ্য শিল্পী অর্থের অভাবে মৃত্যুর সঙ্গে লড়ছেন। এ বিষয়ে কারও কোনো উদ্যোগ নেই। বিষয়টি হতাশার। আসিফ আকবর বলেন, সবাই ভালো করেই জানেন ভারতে বাংলাদেশের কোনো চ্যানেল প্রদর্শন করতে দেয়া হয় না। হালে ভারতে আমাদের দেশের কোনো শিল্পীকে নিয়ে কনসার্ট পর্যন্ত করতে দেয়া হচ্ছে না। সংস্কৃতির যে আদান-প্রদানের চুক্তি রয়েছে সেখানে কেবল আমাদের দেশে ভারতীয় সংস্কৃতি আসছে, কিন্তু ভারত আমাদের সংস্কৃতি কোনোভাবেই সেখানে ঢুকতে দিচ্ছে না। বিষয়টি নিয়ে সরকারেরও কোনো ভ্রুক্ষেপ নেই। এমন অবস্থায় আমরা আশা করব, শাহরুখের এই অনুষ্ঠানে শাকিব খান এবং কুমার বিশ্বজিত্ অংশ নেবেন না।
