I'm all for joint patrolling by ICG and SL navy around the borders.
Killing of innocent Indian nationals/maiming them for life must stop and our government must stop downplaying such incidents and take action against the SLN men involved(either diplomatically or by lodging a 5.56 in their brains)

Hey Friends...i am not sure if the context of this news report is correct..Did we really try to ascertain any neutral media to know about the facts???....In case Indian fishermen moved into to the Sri Lankan Territory then they have every damn right to take legal action....Please dont judge me wrong....but we should not be judgmental to all nitty gritty action of all of our neighbors.. If we are defining that we will shoot at sight to every one crossing India-BD border then SL Navy has every right to shoot at Indian fishermen too...this sud be a fair deal....

We do not do such aggresive action againts any one who crosses some imaginary line on the ocean to fish to be shoot at sight. Kindly be human when you say that they can excercise what you are saying. think about the wives and children of the fishermen who already have a painfull life of waiting at the shore to see the man she loved from the furry of nature and now some navy that can fire at will calling that they crossed some imaginary line.

The best way of maintaining peace is to request for US naval presence around the IOR littoral states. when these countries ask China to base their ships in their countries would just ask more trouble. The correct solution is ask the US to be the peace broker in the area.

Are you some kind of paid agent to the US, that you go in every thread and say that the US should broker peace between two nations. why the hell is US, its just a nation like the other two who have disputes. are you born to a asian parent or you have your genetic roots in the US, that you allways ask for US to solve your home issues.

This is the right time that India n SL fixes the bitterness towards prosperity.. This is not at all a good gesture that we keep chasing each other/confronting.. Differences should get eradicated asap.. Both the country should sit and talk.. Peace
