Sri Lanka Wants to Undo Deal to Lease Port to China for 99 Years

This is the poster child warning template of what happens when you deal with Chinese investments. OBOR is a devastating debt burden, in place to only enrich China and employ its workforce in other countries.

They try to buy the port initially. When that fails, they get the host country in massive debts that the host country can never pay back. Then use the debt burden to take ownership of the port.
