Off topic but this is my personal opinion.

Sri Lanka > (Pakistan, India, Bangladesh)

Remarkable too, since their civil war finished couple of years ago.

Unfortunately there is not, as with this photos there are 15+ floors, but cannot tell you how many more there will be as it hasn't been released.
Going by this photo there appears to be a number of underground floors too.

As there was an adverse security assessment made in relation in providing Engineering design and construction contract to private companies, the construction was awarded to the Tri-Forces Engineering Corps, and the Engineering design and consultancy awarded to the state owned CECB *Central Engineering Consultancy Bureau.

We can only keep guessing as to what the final design will be, as its a defence complex there are security concerns that prevent the release of such information.

That does not make any sense .

Any security threat will emerge only if they release the pictures and data about the interiors .

I don't think releasing the CGI of exterior of proposed HQ will pose any security risk .

This wasn't my decision.

Sorry I do retract this statement, I advice that this was my opinion and does not necessarily reflect that of the MoD.

I advice that the adverse security assessment was made in relation to the tender to private companies.

I advice that I am not aware of the MoD releasing any such statements relating to the final design rendering.

I happen to stumble upon the construction drawings of the head quarters. There are 8 towers of same specs arranged in an octogon. So we are not getting a Pentagon, an Octogon instead.
