Got a question related the original picture
is it an agressor aircraft of the US Military painted in desert camo
or an Iranian F-14 being delivered to Iran (back in the 70s)
as during delivery of Phantoms to Iran,Phantoms carried US markings
until they reach there destination,did the same applied to the F-14s?

Should be one of the F-14s that were never delivered to Iran.

Not only that F-14 was painted in Iranian paint scheme
but many others also
yes that one could be the never delivered Iranian F-14
here is its serial number
160377 F-14A 3-8049 remained in US for testing

Not only in the region, but nobody in the world had F-14's except Iran and the USA.
