If US didn't cross the 38th parallel, there would be no Chinese intervention.
Yeah, China repeatedly told UN army not to cross the 38th parallel as the UN mandate was supposed to be, otherwise China would intervene, but, US ignored Chinese warnings. calling China bluffing and thought Chinese army would not dare to intervene becos it was too weak in US eyes.

If US army weapons were bad at The Battle of Chosin Reservoir as some claim, one just has to think how primitive and infinitely worse the weapons the Chinese army had at hands, Chinese army at the battle were not even wearing winter clothes designed for the winter conditions in North Korea but were in light wears suited for South China since that's where those Chinese troops were dispatched to Korea. One company of Chinese soldiers at The Battle of Chosin Reservoir were all frozen to death while engaging in ambush. The disparity of the fire power between US army and Chinese army in Korean war is just mind boggling. Chinese army at The Battle of Chosin Reservoir had no air and naval support at all.

The Chinese army didn't have air cover, US totally dominated the skies, shared record shows that Chinese troops can only launch attacks at night under the cover of darkness, during the day they had to find foxholes and caves to hide from US bombers. US planes also repeatedly cut off Chinese troops logistic supply lines by blanket bombing Chinese supply truck convoys, our ancestors had to hold on in the freezing cold for days without food, drinking water and amunitions.

Some Americans just make excuses of having bad weapons when they were beaten at the battles. US army weapons were infinitely better and more powerful than Chinese army. US army definitely dominated the air and seas in the war while China basically fought with the ground army.

Koreans are only next to Indians in their ability to rewrite history.

All said and done, South korea is an economic powerhouse. While the north is a pariah, which brainwashes, and kills its own citizens.

How they like to run their country is their own choice, foreign powers should stay out of it. US now still have many troops in S,Korea, there are no foreign troops in N,Korea.

Real footage of Chinese army crossing the Yalu River and entering Korea, marching towards advancing Americans

US killed North Korea and China restored it. China started from the very Chinese border and ended half way through Korea, so who won?

US and its dogs pushed the war to the very Chinese border river, the Yalu, and landed shells inside China killing many

Yes, MacArthur's plot to eliminate North Korean regime FAILED due to Chinese intervention. China [saved] North Korea in the Korean War. This is a well-known Chinese military achievement and success story. I have mentioned this fact in my responses in other threads. I give credit to (any) side where due.

However, China did not stop at 38th parallel. China-led forces invaded South Korea and retook Seoul in 1951.

Truman dismissed MacArthur for exceeding mandate and Ridgway succeeded him. Ridgway launched a series of military operations to defeat China-led forces in South Korea in 1951.

Ridgway's Hammer and Anvil tactic worked and South Korea was restored.

Clashes between US-led forces and China-led forces continued along the 38th parallel such as the Battle of Bloody Ridge and the Battle of Heartbreak Ridge.

China-led forces attempted to retake Cheorwon from South Korea in 1952 because this region was a part of North Korea before the Korean War but was lost to South Korea in 1951. This attempt led to the Battle of White Horse Hill.

Ridgway's efforts led to following treaty in 1953:

The US accomplished its mission of liberating South Korea in the end.

The Korean War was fought to liberate South Korea from communist forces and its conclusion is in front of you.

China's attacks beyond the 38th parallel were half hearted at best, China didn't want to see a united Korea despite repeated requests made by Kim Il Sung. China's goal was to push US away from the China border and create a buffer zone, China was not ready to spill more Chinese blood to help Kim Il Sung to unite the whole Korea, that's Korean people's job, not China's.

China started from the very China-Korea border and ended half way through Korea, anyone can easily see if it's a win or lose.

Following is the true picture of the Korean War:

China-led forces pushed beyond the 38th parallel and captured a chunk of South Korean territory including Seoul. This does NOT sound like a half-hearted push from any perspective. No army could go this deep inside South Korea and claim it to be a half-hearted effort.

Chinese troops offered significant resistance to US-led forces in each and every battle that I have mentioned in my previous response. But American troops broke through the Chinese defenses and succeeded in restoring South Korea.

Keep in mind that Ridgway did not had the mandate to push beyond 38th parallel. He was focused on restoring South Korea and succeeded to this end.

South Korea ended up with [more] territory at the conclusion of the Korean War in fact.

Do NOT waste my time by giving your propaganda spin to a historical development. Celebrate your battlefield successes but accept your battlefield losses. This is the hallmark of a legitimate individual.
