South Kashmir: Militants attack police station in Shopian
Reports said that shots were fired at both the police station and the house of Congress leader and former minister Ghulam Hassan Khan, located adjacent to each other.

Militants attack police station in Shopian
Suspected militants on Sunday night attacked a police station and the house of a senior Congress leader in Shopian district of south Kashmir.

There was no report of any casualties in both the incidents.


Reports said that shots were fired at both the police station and the house of Congress leader and former minister Ghulam Hassan Khan, located adjacent to each other.

Policemen retaliated, triggering an exchange of fire that lasted for few minutes.

However, nobody was injured in both the incidents.
