China as the biggest and most powerful domestic power of the Asia Pacific, it has a responsibility to protect the shipping lanes and the freedoms of navigation of the South China Sea, hope Mr Obama can understand this. In fact, more islands need to be built in order to meet these obligations of China's rising position as the guarantor of peace and stability in the region, hope Mr Obama can understand this.

China is not taking any islands through military force held by other regional claimants, nor is it forcing other regional claimants to halt their own island reclamation activities, we are merely strengthening our own positions. Better get use to it, cause we're not going anywhere.

I feel the obama administration is simply too soft. Presidents of the cold war days were willing to play hard with actions like berlin airlift, korean war, ect.

Obama tells syria to not use chemical weapons, Russia to stop agressiom against ukraine, north korea/ iran to stop nuclear ambition, china to stop bullying neighbors and nothing happens.

It's painful watching obama throw away us political influence day after day.
