With guys like this occupying seats in Pakistan and India too having its own share of medieval MPs, how can we expect us to improve our social system. The fact that guys like this gets elected to the parliament in South Asia points to the real problem that faces both India and Pakistan. We both have a large section of our rural population pinned down in the pre Independance era where such practices were employed.
