India-Pakistan relations will flourish .... with much stronger roots of democracy in Pakistan.

Terrorism in Pakistan will decline.

India-Bangladesh relation would go to further strenghts.

South Asians will stand together, united.

Your "FAKE ID" and intentions are already exposed.

Good one..!

Terrorism in Pakistan will decline.

Really? Looking at the tensions looming there both internal and external (towards their western borders), I was forecasting it to be on the rise. :what:

India-Bangladesh relation would go to further strenghts.

We already cater to a lot of their kind without the slip...No thanks, but I as a NE Indian and being in close proximity to their country, would prefer our border to be fenced, electrified and strengthened. Sitting in Kanpur it is easy for you to paint those rosy images but we northeasterners are having hell with the illegal encroachments that local politicians encourage for "minority" vote.

South Asians will stand together, united.

With the current Islamist radicals coming to power in an already radicalized Maldives (not shooting in air, I've been there to see their behavior), I see that notch further slipping. The only 2 countries that have some strong semblance of bonding is Nepal and Bhutan because of cultural and faith ties. Afghanistan is relatively close; Mauritius is also a close neighbor. Other than these South Asia is a big no no.

We have BIG opportunity in Southeast Asia though. With Burma, Thailand and Vietnam already forming close relationship with us, it is a matter of time before we get Cambodia and Laos also on the boat. Common culture plays a big role here apart from rich resources, no disputes and seeing eye to eye on global issues.

Malaysia and Indonesia have already come aboard. :)

Long ago, bhai. Some people are so conscious of themselves that they resort to such childish attempts.

What a beautiful unrealizable dream.

Look east brother...look east.

Hey. Can anyone tell me about how to start a poll thread?

What a beautiful unrealizable dream.

It is beautiful ... and realizable.

We rise together.

India's economic growth will help Pakistan and Bangldesh.

Bangladesh is already on the right track.

As terrorism declines in Pakistan ..... trade with India flourishes, economic growth is bound to flow in.

There is an option for Poll when you start a thread below. It is kind of difficult to tell like this but it is just below the text column.

I wish South Asia could be as independent as China.

I don't know about you, but we are pretty independent. It is just we don't take any hard stances because this benefits us from two opposing parties and doesn't get us involved in any unpleasant situations. Try neutrality. It is good.

Ok, since you mention China ..... South Asia already constitutes a much bigger piece of mankind.

Much greater than even the so-called "Greater China".

However, a united prosperous South Asia doesn't suit the world view of the current chinese govt (PRC govt, I mean). The PRC govt believes in "superiority" of chinese (esp han chinese race) over South Asians, to say the least. They realize the huge mass we have .... and are just trying to play a "divide and rule" strategy.

Though, that view must not be confused with the intentions of chinese people, themselves.

I think some of India's neighbors will turn into chinese provinces... that is if they are not already.
