Here are some facts about Pakistan's Nuclear Program in an interview by Dr.Samar Mubarik Mand on Geo Television Program "Capital Talk".
He said that Pakistan had already tested its Nuclear Bomb in 1983 but not pinpoint the location of that test. he added that he was the in charge of that team that complete this test. He also told that a code is required to ignite the Nuclear Bomb. Without completing this process no one can trigger the Nuke. He claimed that if he put the N-Bomb in a Chowk(Crossing) then no one can trigger it without this code. He explain that if Some fighter carrying N-bomb unfortunately crashes in our own boundary then this crash can't trigger it because the procedure required is not completed.
He told that a highly trained staff is required to make N-bomb. And a country who want to make N-bomb, then this country must have highly qualified and proper trained staff of 14 different technologies is required not a single one. that's why Iran, Libya after many years cant make N-bomb because they haven't qualified force of all these technologies required.He also revealed that Dr.Abdul Qadeer Khan is qualified in Uranium-enrichment which is one of the important technology out of 14. He also revealed that in in 28Feb 5tests and 29Feb 1 test was done. in 29 Feb the nuke was tested, was a new smart design and better than all the designs of Pakistan which was previously made. He also revealed that Dr.A.Q Khan was invited as a chief guest along others.
