Baton Rouge Man Detained After Witnessing Police Murder of Black Man Sues City

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Although most adults in the United States believe the nation’s racial divide will one day be resolved, a sizeable minority consider black-white harmony an impossible goal, a survey by the Gallup Organization revealed on Thursday.

"Fifty-seven percent of Americans in June said that a solution to relations between whites and blacks ‘will eventually be worked out,’ while 40 percent said that black-white relations "will always be a problem," a press release with the survey pointed out.

The latest results are from Gallup's June 7-July 1 Minority Rights and Relations poll, which was conducted before events of the past two weeks in the US states of Louisiana, Minnesota and Texas.

In Texas, a lone sniper killed five policemen. The other incidents involved African Americans being killed during seemingly routine interactions with police.

The survey also indicated long-term optimism over US race relations has held steady over the past three years, despite a number of police killings that have given rise to the Black Lives Matter movement.

Dilapidating economy and such division will result into the disintegration naturally into the independent states.

So what did Gallup actually say on Thursday....that things are actually not as bad as previous years...so everything is fine no matter what the foreign media says.

You will be still guaranteed more rights here than in Pakistan
That's true...I'm presenting my analysis...not my wish..my wish is to see the USA of the great ideals set by its founders...the first amendment, a place of dreams and equality, democracy. ...If you follow my posts on different threads, I crticise Pakistan too and also present analysis on what can cause damage to the integrity of the country but that does not mean I do not love Pakistan. Pakistanis are always criticising their country and the govt and even then nation very openly but none of them is unpatriotic.

Your analysis is low quality and frankly ignorant_ as is your attitude about my country. Setting aside your constant and unreasonably anti american stance as a posting history. You seem to know little to nothing about economics. Just above you called us "Dilapidating economy". Which shows you are clueless about us and undereducated about anything to do with economics. Even today the U.S is called the strongest economy and going against current economic trends.

There is no, quote- "such division" of our people to qualify your claims of us breaking up as a country. This is simply rubbish talk and one that comes in spades from you. Do us all a favor, if have any shame left- remove that U.S flag kindly, it sickens us Americans to see you claim any part of it.

Educated discussion with someone who has no clue about our economy or country. Whose great analysis is constantly talking about us failing and breaking up as a country. Your perpetual ignorance towards us is why Trumpo is getting traction, and other loyal good muslim americans are feeling the heat.

Biggest economy: Yes
Strongest economy: No.

Poor quality education and high salary makes you far less competitive compared with emerging China, Korea or Taiwan. The only major issue which keep the US economy different than Brazil is that the US dollar is still the world major reserve currency and preferential trade currency. But the condition is and will be changed, as China is roaring ahead and their economy is more healthy and balanced than yours. \

We should not go to far on that issue. Anyone has his own ideas. Just wait and see. Do not say others are low quality and ignorant.

You've been reading too much propaganda news. China is not even a developed country and is not roaring ahead of us. Our per capita income is over 8- 10x of theirs. Argh forget it, what's the use, you fellas don't even know the first think about economic indicators.

It's precisely because China is not a developed country and has much lower per capita income, that she still has a lot of potential to grow.

3 police officers killed, several injured in US shooting

Xinhua, July 18, 2016

Three police officers were killed, and several others injured on Sunday in a shooting incident in Baton Rouge, the capital city of the U.S. state of Louisiana.

One suspect was shot dead and two other suspects might still be on the run, according to the local police.

The injured police officers, who are with the Baton Rouge Police Department and East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office, have been rushed to Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center for treatment, said Kip Holden, mayor of Baton Rouge. He did not say how many officers were wounded and their conditions, according to the local English daily The Times-Picayune.

Holden said that he was still gathering details on the total number of officers who were injured by the shooting that broke out around 9:00 a.m. local time in the city, and was unable to provide any information on the gunman or gunmen. But there are reports that one suspect was killed and possibly two more others were being sought by the police.

Holden described the shooting as "a nightmare" all over again in the city as two police officers shot and killed a 37-year-old black man, triggering a wave of protests across the nation.

Louisiana Governer John Bel Edwards also condemned the shooting, saying in a statement that shooting was "an unspeakable and unjustified attack on all of us at a time when we need unity and healing."

He promised to take measures to bring the shooters to justice.

This is the second serious shooting incident that killed police officers in the country in less than two weeks after a gunman killed five police officers and hurt seven others in Dallas, a city in the northern part of the U.S. state of Texas.

US is just as chaotic as Europe.
They should protect the rights of Black and Muslim first over the immoral colonial invaders.
