The episode of the Economic Action Council and the subsequent resigning of eminent economists like Atif Mian, Khwaja, and now Rasul needs a solution. If there are any PTI guys on here who have access to the leadership, tell them to disband this council. But continue to meet, take council and advice from those that have resigned and those that are currently still on the list in a non-official setting and capacity. No hurt feelings (thanks to the graciousness of Atif Mian), no outrage from the mentally disabled who opposed the individual, and PTI gets to have the best advice on economic matters which the GoP desperately needs going forward.

People who can't perform , of course they can step down it is natural process in any new team , new person will be found and the team will get stronger

Need to fit criteria for role , religiously , education wise and reputation wise

If only Ik hadn't horrendously caved in to that pressure from a certain extremist sect. ALL of this could've been avoided.. If you wanna blame it on someone then blame PTI. The members of that council are mostly foreign people no? And have a different mindset than the common avg. Pakistani so they're bound to step down after seeing PTI go back on their word after a day.
