Software for grammar checking in write-up

Dear all,

As you may know my writing skills are bad due to many reasons like grammar, short sentences and inconsistency.
My family has the same complaint by the way that I write short lines in texts and end communication abruptly.
So you cannot do the same in your PhD thesis, even in writing good posts and blogs.
I am not sure about privacy etc.

But there is an extension, both for Chrome and Words, called grammarly. It is a a good software. Man even my title was grammatically wrong, missing the article. Also I am bad at punctuation.

Yup.. same here when i was using Game Ranger to play online games. Apparently adBlock cannot block that. It doesn't say anything about anyone grammar but huge advertisement means it is free but not actually free.

Grammarly is great option and is to an extent free.. I used it once for my UCAS personal statement and it really helped me
