India doesnt need to make any official bycotts to stop trade. Give signals to traders and they will proactively make the needful changes which will impact seller. That way theres is no official reaction yet the effect has been felt hard where needed.

Playing economics is new game of getting things done. Thats how entire middle east is singing songs with India. Rest of the world will also fall in line sooner or latter to this new game.

Yup India has not restricted it officially, but has asked it's importers to divert orders to Indonesia......

I have noticed there is a real deep desire in indians to show they have muscled someone due to their soft, hard power or economy. Its like some sort of deep insecurity complex. You could almost get more out of them by stroking their ego. This is what i think bangladesh does really well with them. Make them feel like the maibaap of the neighborhood to get concessions.
