What's new

So the other day I had a visitor

. .
I have been feeding a heron for more than two years and he waits for me on my balcony every morning.

Will post some pics soon.

I got accepted there, but tbh the cost isn't really worth it for undergrad. Instead I go to Florida State. Pretty good deal with in state tuition and Bright Futures. Although Tallahassee is a lot like Daytona, but without the beach.

For me, my interest is the most important thing and in aeronautical Embry-Riddle is one of the best especially for undergrad. It was expensive but my father paid it ..also I got some partial funding ...another reason..my uncle lived there so I could stay at his place which was kind of important factor for my parents ..though after the first year I moved into the hostel.

brown bear looking for the trash can
do you have a shot gun at home? must get a permit for one should be must to save you your family and pets
Beautiful creatures, just need to be careful. Usually they have a quick rummage and stroll off. Are you armed by the way or have dogs?
Minor correction, that was a black bear, not a brown bear. Those are found much further north. No my family does not keep guns, although tbh I think it is a good idea just to prepared for a variety of situations. As long as you don't leave anything like trash cans or pet food outside, they usually don't cause any problems and actually avoid humans. The problems arise when people carelessly leave available sources of food outside, causing the bears to lose their fear of humans. Anyway, bears are threatened in Florida, so killing one unless it's absolutely necessary(self defense) can be a felony.
