At first let me present my sincere condolences to the victims of the last night Paris terrorist attacks. Our hearts and thoughts are always with those innocents lost, in that tragic incident, as well as all those innocent victims of the Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Africa, those lost in Russian airplane crash in Egypt Sinai, and all the other innocent victims of terror in all corners of this round planet.
Sure these moments, days and years would not be remembered as an honorable period in human history, and no matter how remote and inaccessible this dream like, wish, might sound, but lets hope no more innocent blood would ever shed upon the earth.
Here I'm not gonna talk about the causes of the incident, I'm not gonna throw the blames and I'm not gonna talk about the past, but just the future and what it holds.
There might be people here believing, that the last night terrorist incident would lead into a stronger position of the Russian stance on the Syrian issue, that the west and NATO will engage into more cooperation with the Russian involvement in Syrian situation, that things will go more into the direction all sane minds hope, a more universal unified front and approach into this trauma worldwide terror phenomena.
However, I'm not gonna fall for that possible scenario.
What I'm going for, is this; I'm trying to keep it as simple as possible.
France would take the case into UN.
The case would be discussed via the chapter number VII of the UN charter.
A UN, foreign intervention in Syria would be approved.
Russia would strengthen it's military presence specially it's aerial battle capabilities in Syria.
World will be pushed more close to the devastating brinks of a Superpowers battle of interests.
...

Lets stop at this point, and lets hear what you guys think of the future to come, Lets hear what would be your predictions.

BTW, with all due respects please refrain the trollings and verbal disputes in any form, and post only and if only you think you might help further the boundaries of the others knowledge.

Thanks in advance.

National front in power in france

Dicey, as all conservative groups they are louder but actual status would depend on how Hollande handles the aftermath. Usually there is pro-incumbency wave after such incidents if the party in power takes a hard stance. However if Hollande pussyfoots around the whole thing and the perception develops ISIS has not been bought to justice comprehensively he would take a hit.

Tough anti-terror surveillance measures unveiled.

Again not a given. French love their privacy and if measures taken are intrusive in a conspicuous manner then don't expect much support after the initial shock and anger passes away. However temporarily stronger measures are to be expected.

French special forces in syria.

In advisory capacity and may be as spotters. No large scale deployment.

French airstrikes stepped up

100% certain

Regards

except for option 3 , i agree with 1,2 and 4

sending troops on ground will not help French people anyway , ISIS have some modern US equipment and thanks to Pu$$y army of Iraq trained by US , they have Tanks , Humvee's , MRAPS and many more .. the fight will be a blood bath for any force put boots on ground , and it will increase their idiotic propaganda to launch more strikes against the French , i rather let the Rafale take the charge .. after all French make those beasts for some reason Right ?

1) The govenement might finally start working on "national indignity" law. Then, Serious offenders might be striped of their civic rights.
2) More intelligence agents will be recruited, specially tte analysts.
3) Defence jobs due to be cut will saved- about 25000 jobs were to be cut in next 5 years

what does the law entail?

what does the law entail?
Any involvement in felony offences could lead to stripping of civic rights, right to vote and speech is primary. It will effect those who give speeches supporting and justifying terrorism.
This law was first introduced somewhere in '40s against those who supported Nazi, and was withdrawn after the war.

Home land security type thing
Border security
More agents
Debates and more talk shows against islam
Practically involve in europe block against russia china pakistan
India is already saying its just like mumbai attack..
Pakistan sud say its more like peshawar school attack.
More hate gonna spread.

I hope france gets serious in destroying the ISIS- let this be the motivation they lacked -

Syria is a shithole with every world power having different interests and agendas doing arm wrestling with each other -

War for the Holy Grail !!!
Judgement Day !!
Oblivion !!

1.At least one more terror attack in Europe before the end of the year.

2.After that Merkel goes,Hollande goes, the "refugees" will go to.

3.The state will get more powers to control its citizens in Europe and backlash against muslims will follow.

couple of days of mourning and then the left liberals will take over the whole fiasco to whitewash the whole incident like it never happened.

 what is terrorism though? Do sikh radicals thriving in France qualify? Do anti India radicals advocating terrorism in Kashmir and living in France qualify or it just for a particular brand of Islamists like ISIS which effect the west? Will France stop doing business with Pakistan if they sponsor terrorism against India?

That is the problem is no standard and globally accepted definition of terrorism.

Do not expect France to take action against any country merely because it sponsors terrorism, France might make an exception if it's a NATO country.
And I do not blame France.
Will India take action against Russia if it attacks France???

Hope France doesn't invoke Article 5 of NATO.
