Snow has blanketed parts of northern Pakistan with places recording sub-zero temperatures.

Snowstorms hit Gilgit, Azad Kashmir, Chitral, Dir, Kohistan, and District Swat among other places. The biting cold will continue for at least six months.

Below are some pictures of Usho Valley in Swat. The area is located near the Mahodand Lake.

I doubt you are in Germany! Without the snow, the weather will be dull, dont tell me your sadist self prefers that over the bright white blanket?

They are worse..they sponsored the TTP to destroy our beautiful valleys and mountains... I really don't to see them...jealous people.

We in Sweden anxiously wait for snow..at least the first snow which we had at end of the last month but it vanished within 48 hrs. Snow lights up the whole landscape.

For me, it is like this..I love it when it first comes and it is very white and clean but after some days it become a bit old ... I don't like it but when it gets fully frozen on the lacks ..then we go for cross-country skiing and that's fun

I like it when it is fresh and stays.....blankets of white! I hate it when it starts melting and I see people slipping makes me over conscious that I would break my backbone if I fall

Invest in good shoes.. with studs.. that's it..here we say "no weather is good or bad..it is the cloths"

Oh I fell once really badly after that I havent but when I see someone fall...strikes the fear! I have good shoes...without studs but they serve the purpose

Now back in Pakistan so dont need to invest no more

I invested heavily in dress and it's recurring thing. I got a few good jackets from Fjall Raven and NorthFace... but these are long term investments because I don't need to buy every year. Same goes for shoes....but still it is like 10,000 sek every year..
