Slovakia is looking to purchase 30 KTO Rosomak 8×8 armored fighting vehicles from the Polish firm Rosomak SA. That reported by defesaglobal.wordpress.com.

Rosomak SA is owned by the local state-controlled defence group PGZ. Negotiations are being held between the ministries of defence of both nations.

The KTO Rosomak wheeled armored vehicle is a local modification of AMV (Armored Modular Vehicle) design of Finish firm Patria Land Systems.

Hundreds of KTO Rosomak vehicles are currently in service within the Polish Land Forces. The vehicles aimed for Slovakia will likely receive weapon turrets designed in Slovakia.
