Singapore became the first Asian country to kick off inoculation efforts against the novel coronavirus with the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine on Wednesday. The country started its planned vaccination exercise with a group of healthcare workers getting the first shots.
More healthcare institutions will follow in the coming weeks, with public healthcare institutions and private hospitals to progressively arrange for their staff to be vaccinated within their premises, as per a report in The Straits Times.
