What's new

Simply stick it in!

have u heard the famous story regarding this film, when madhubala was so keen to see the movie in a theater in bombay, she went there wearing a burka...however, some peole recognised her from her white feet...buss bhagdarr mach gayi...and she had to flee with her minders.

Lol....I thought people admired her for her "Mona Lisa" simle...

Okay gozer, het is laat en ik ga mijn bed opzoeken. Zie je morgen weer, zelfde tijd en plaats.

Toedelokes! :enjoy:

neo..have u ever considered how the most talanted in bharat's film/music industry are people whose origins lie in what is now called pakistan? this whole film, apparently the jewel of indian cinema, is made, acted, composed by people who were born in what is now pakistan.

prithvi raj kappor and dilip kumar, madhubala, k asif...peshawaris, the lot of them.

My feminine and sensibilities remark was made tongue-in-cheek, as my way of teasing Neo. I myself cook for my family many times, so you should take my comment as in jest rather than some chauvinistic remark.

And don't try to be condescending towards me about my veg food comments. I am not saying that people should eat this or that, i just gave my own preference, in a light hearted way, not that different from your own comment about gujrati food.

Personally, I couldn't care less if peole ate meat, veg, leaves, pigs, or even their own cats and dogs.

I did not say anything with the intention of offending anybody's sensiblities.

I'm sadly miffed by your post, as I was inspired to answer you with your talk of indian/pakistani friendship. But all you found in my post were things to nit and pick.

Well, if the intention was not to hurt sensibilities.. then none taken.

As I mentioned in a post on another thread.. friendships that begin with disagreements last and ppl who disagree make better friends.
