Just found this week old news report. This alone should be evidence enough that the only one's with a motive to attack were SIMI.

Pak gains no political mileage from the attacks:

New Delhi - The Supreme Court Thursday dismissed as withdrawn a petition filed by the Students’ Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) seeking a direction to lift a five-year-old ban imposed on it by the central government.

A bench of judges Arijit Pasayat and Lokeshwar Singh Panta observed that since a tribunal was already looking into the matter, it would not like to interfere.

When the bench indicated that it would dismiss the petition, the counsel for the petitioner said he would withdraw the petition and it was dismissed as withdrawn.

The petitioner had challenged the ban order on the ground that no reasons were given to proscribe SIMI and the organisation had not been found indulging in any terrorist or antinational activities.

Maybe they should hire me to investigate, instead!

they were saying they are not a terrorist organisation, the court didnt buy that argument. So to prove they are not terrorist they went on to blast 7 bombs in trains that killed 200 commuters.

Wonderfull investigation.

Anymore such scoops...

SIMI is being mentioned in western media aswell, I heard it on BBC last night that its one of the suspects.

This is ridiculous. The ban and the blasts have no connection at all. And this mass bombing cannot be devised in 5 days. Your smoke screen is not working well Asim.

Like Bull said, they bmbed Mumbai to prove to the Supreme Court that they are not terrorists. Good logical move, I say.

Its not only the western media but also Indian media that ,emtined SIMI. The point is that there is no link btw ban upliftment and bomb blasts.

The link is MOTIVE!

There are three things that you have to look at in criminal investigations: Means, motive, and opportunity. Pakistan undoubtebly has the means and the opportunity but lacks the motive.

SIMI has all three. It wants to break down the Indian governance system. It has no separatist agenda. This is an attack on India for the sake of hurting India not for any Independence movement's cause.

Its premature to point fingers to SIMI, LeT, AQ or any other organisation.
We'll have to wait for the official reports and shared evidance.
