Their human right's situation is same(Saudi,Afghan or 2-3 others) or better than India.They don't have one third of their people classified as 'Dalit' 'untouchable' nor they do kill people on the rumor of eating anything.

All of the countries I quoted, only Iran is theocratic(individual Iranian are much more liberal than Indian) all others have secular govt. Biggest religious bigot/communal party in this world now ruling India and we are seeing their bigotry on a daily basis.

Turkey,Malaysia,Indonesia are economic power without any oil.Many muslim countries are upper middle income without any oil,gas or other significant natural resources like, Lebanon,Albania,Bosnia,Maldives etc. Many other non oil muslim countries are not that rich but have decent living standard 2-3 times higher than India like Egypt, Jordan, Tunisia Morocco, Kosovo etc.Even oil rich country like Iran, UAE have larger non oil economy than oil economy.

This is only true for small oil rich gulf countries.Those countries have several times the expat population than native people.So they can't handoout citizenship like USA,UK or Germany.On the other hand, 2 million indian are living in Malaysia as a citizen.From many countries, Indian population were driven out including bharati favourite Myanmar but Muslim Malaysia given citizenship to all the Indian.

In most of the muslim countries, burka and bikini both are common.Only Iran, Saudi Arabia and 2-3 other muslim countries have dress code for women.You should check out the beach party in muslim countries like Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Turkey, Azerbaijan Indonesia or Kazakhstan, you will not find much difference with European countries.In India, perhaps Goa is the only place where you can see that type of beach atmosphere.And burka is not much common besides gulf Aarb and South Asia.Other muslim country's women use head scarf often with jeans.I find India much more conservative than a lot of muslim countries, Anti-romeo squad, forcible marriage of love couple, banning university girls of wearing jeans,this type things can only happen in India.
