Significant oil reserves discovered in Tando Allahyar

Oil and Gas Development Company (OGDCL) has discovered oil from its exploratory well located in district Tando Allahyar of Sindh province.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad today Managing Director OGDCL, Muhammad Rafi said that the significant reserves of oil have been found at Well Palli Deep-1 which produced 1095 barrels of oil per day.

He said that the discovery will add remarkable reserves to the reserve base of the company.

He said that soon commercial production at well would be started and the approach road would be constructed soon.

He said that the company's success rate is very good and is working on exploration on more than 63 blocks.

We need more brains, manpower, and investment to increase Oil Production and self-reliance.
