Significant Happenings - Tourism Development in Pakistan

In the wake of renewed thrust and prioritization in tourism development in Pakistan, I am consolidating information about changes in infrastructure, economic uplift, banking facilities, changes in hotel facilities, sports cum adventure activities at Government level. Hilton and Radisson Sign Contracts

• In March 2021, Hilton signed an agreement with Dhabi Hospitality for building an upscale Doubletree by Hilton brand, which is likely to be launched in Islamabad, Pakistan, by 2025. The hotel will be located west of the Islamabad city center, featuring 167 guest rooms, including 10 suites. The property will form part of residential and commercial development.
• In August 2020, Radisson Hotel Group signed a deal with Radisson Blu Serviced Apartments in Islamabad, Pakistan, to open the country's first internationally branded serviced apartments.
