Almost every country has its own special forces in the military. They are the elite group for operations.
It will not be wrong to say that they are given the best equipment and training.
SAS,US SEAL,MARCOS,SSG etc are some examples of them.
But the main point which I am making is that experience is the main player in battlefield. A militant can easily defeat SFs operative using experience and an experienced soldier may perform better than SFs personnel in the field.
Currently, American,Russian,Afghanistani,Pakistani,Turkish,Syrian,Iranians,Iraqi etc soldiers are fighting militants. Though some are less equipped, they have the experience. We can say that they will perform better than say Chinese,Australian etc military. This is only for comparing the performance.
In the end, the technology and equipment also significantly increase the capabilities.
How experience affects the field performance?
