it's finally looking like al raqqa will be attacked by the ground . i'm guessing the latest possibly attack on al raqqa will be in mid to late July or August

but the Kurds are in no hurry and want syria rebels to lead the way if the terror capital is to be targeted

so what's the best way to siege al raqqa??

I think Kurds/Syrians attacking from the North, and U.S special forces/marines attacking from the South.

but detailed intelligence will be needed before an assault. have a B-2 loaded with 80 GBU-38s hit key IS command and control buildings and defensive fortifications.

have U.S and SAS special forces deployed south Al Raqqa armed with L118/M119 and M777 howitzers to rain death on IS rats while Kurds/Syria siege the city.

going to need FAC embedded with the Kurds/Syria and south of Al Raqqa for accurate 105mm fires.

time to have Excalibur used to effect in war.

50KM of precise death

I don't think driving Kurds into Arab populated cities is a good idea. It will complicate things much more. FSA with the support of US should do the job.

Kurds are liberators. They are not crusaders like IS. they have no intention of occupying Arab
areas.

I don't speak of Turkish Kurds, but the Kurds of Syria and Iraq.

(CNN)ISIS is reportedly digging trenches and calling on reinforcements to prepare for a possible assault by Kurdish forces on their stronghold of Raqqa in northern Syria, activists and a Kurdish official told CNN on Wednesday.

yeah they digging ditches and no doubt forcing men and boys to fight for them.

hopefully we got a inside man who can give us the coordinates of their rat holes and send in some bunker busters to bury them alive.

This does not surprise me one bit. The world should immediately embargo all arms, money, food, travel and medicine to that country in order to stop Isis

Watch the footage taken by security cameras on the Turkish side, you will see the news is false as usual. Of course both of you wish it came from Turkey.

If you watch from 40 seconds to 45 seconds you can see the vehicle coming from the syrian side for a split second.

You can confirm yourself that it is coming from the syrian side because the surveillance footage was taken from behind the train tracks which are located on the turkish side of the border. The exploding car is on the other side of the tracks (Syrian Side). Also in one of the footages you can see the car taking a turn in an urban area with white buildings prior to exploding (clearly syrian side of the border).

International slandering media is at it again......there are thousands of Kurds right across the border of Kobane and inside Kobane.....why there happens to be zero visual proof when people slander my country ?

It is plain open border with no where to hide, filled with thousands of Kurds, why they can't show one photo to back their claims ?

And do we ever see a rectification or apology after they write false accusations? nope.
No decency at all with cetain news outlets.

Eye witnesses also report some jihadis coming from Turkey as well

And where have you seen Kurds liberate an area only to hand it over to Arabs? You think they'd give up their lives for charity?
