Rasul'Allah (saw) didn't establish a new system in Madina through force, but by winning over the sincere elite among Aus and Khazraj. The latter had lost their elders in the Battle of Bu'ath, leaving young men (like Saad ibn Muadh RA) to ponder on how to stop the incessant tribal fighting.Even Prophets/Messengers had to fight wars.......
Prior to meeting Rasul'Allah (saw), Aus and Khazraj had actually settled a peace accord among themselves and opted to elect Abdullah ibn Ubayy as Yathrib's leader. However, as more of the leaders of Aus and Khazraj spoke to Rasul'Allah (saw) and the Sahaba (RA) in Makkah, they eventually pivoted to giving their pledge to Rasul'Allah (saw).
If the PTI folk want to take 'Riyasat-e-Madina' seriously, they should be following the Sunnah of Rasul'Allah (saw), i.e., the man who had established Madina itself. When it came to establishing Madina, he (saw) did not use force at any level. He conveyed the unfiltered truth to the society, and -- above all -- gave them a complete vision of how society should run.
Basically, don't bank on vague promises and slogans, but give a step-by-step roadmap of how you intend to take Pakistan from its current position to the status of 'Riyasat-e-Madina.' And, not least, if you're going to throw around a slogan that is clearly interwoven with Islam, give us Islamic evidence for your policies and actions.
To be frank, when we get past the slogans and emotions, PTI isn't offering anything new. The proof is in the pudding. It had joined a system that was corrupt, got ejected, and now is trying to get back in. It's the same old story.
