It should stabilize the inflow of dollar to stabilize the reserves

If the outflow is blocked , the reserves will fall and people hoarding the dollar will automatically be forced to sell their dollar

, I would say even for 100 days if it is possible.

There is news going ton that PM order to close money exchanges in whole country..only post office and banks will deal with dollars..am I right ?

Problem is bank itself. Lets say i ask you to send me $5,000 as loan and you live in usa.

You send me $5000 via bank or western union.

I wouldnt be able to cash it out. Even i say u have given me as loan. They will say become filer first. That is one case that is happening


2nd case that happened in front of my eyes. Forigern guy came in bank to open foriegn account so that he can send $ from USA. Manager came and ask where do you job in USA he provided document, then manager ask do you pay taxes in USA? I meant why asking this quesstion he is bringing dollars in country. He got frustated and left saying why i will give u proof if I pay tax in usa or not.

I know i quoted you have nothing to do with this but if this is the behavior why would anyone invest in buying certificate

Same case happened to me.. three years back I was in Pakistan and came here with euros cash I opened account in euros for my mother after two years I need that money to build house and bank was not ready to give my euros they wanted to give rupee and less then market..I told them Give me price which state banks gives or the market is giveing me..you were using my money for two yeears and charged me as well n now not giving me the money which i putted in account..that day I stopped working with Pakistani banks.i realised whol banking system is back ward and kind of corrupt

State Bank of Pakistan can't give any such Orders under imf preconditions.

Pakistan has not signed any agreement with the IMF. IMF cannot dictate any terms yet.

30-60 Days ban on Dollar for Local Banks should be OK
Only Petrochemical Minister should have authority to Get Dollars to Purchase Gas/Oil

Local Population does not need Dollars to survive

Only exception should be on legitimate Travelers

• Government should give Local people incentive to give back Dollar , and take Pakistan Banao Certificate (In Dollar), and the money would live in State Bank of Pakistan Account (5 year maturity 6% profit)

Why is a poor country like Pakistan importing so much? A country with 220 Million population should be exporting. Currently the exports are only 21 Billion whereas the imports are touching 50 Billion mark. The remits of 22 billion helps a bit, but then again there is loan repayments.
