Should government try IK and TUQ for treason after the long march is over?

I think after the drama of long march is over, government should try both IK and TUQ for treason and get them convicted and sent to gallows. They have been openly rebelling the state and are bringing so much shame to pakistan and pakistanis all over the world.

You mean the courts should try IK and TuQ for high treason. Yes, they most certainly should. And although they have already been tried and convicted in the eyes of most dissenting Pakistanis, including me, any proceedings before a court of law should be fair and just, with no interference from the Federal or Provincial Governments. As the maxims of equity dictate, they are innocent until proven guilty.

But what about trying Gov for the murder of innocent people and rigging in elections? Yeah certainly we cant because they are in Gov and we are common people... THIS IS PAKISTAN....DIFFERENT LAW FOR POOR AND RICH...!

- Courts can't convict owner of a media gang called geo who has waged a war against key national institutes and is clearly on payroll of our worst enemy (Eastern Neighbor).

- Courts can't convict the criminals who robbed the 5 years of this nation by doing massive rigging in 2013 elections. Those criminals have put 5 years of this nation at stack by bringing NAB and High Court convicts into power illegally.

- Courts can't convict the royal Sharif family in Money Laundering, Helicopter case, Hudaibiya Paper Mills case, Asghar Khan case and other gazillions of cases. In few cases NS & SS are convicted but these courts have granted them stay orders for unlimited period of time.

- Courts can't convict the murderers of 14 innocent PAT protesters who were killed in Model Town in day light in front of all TV channel's cameras. More than 2 months are gone since that massacre happened, but we don't even have a valid FIR lodged against Punjab Govt and Police Officers, even after the orders of concerned Courts. These useless courts can't even insure that the FIR is lodged.


But yes, courts must convict IK and TuQ for raising valid points and taking a stand on them. I don't give a sh!t about TuQ, but if you wanna have IK convicted then sure. Open up the damn elections, do a free & fair audit of these elections and make the findings public. If no rigging is found, then go ahead and convict IK. Else convict those bastards who did the rigging, along with all those who helped in rigging, funded it, supported it and protected it.

These Qadris, Khans, and Chaudharies will be nothing without Army's support. When the time is right bring the big fish to its knees. Cut down defence budget and secret funds, hang Musharraf in public and allow Courts to open missing person cases.

No, they shouldn't. PTI and PAT's humiliating defeat is enough. Imran has made himself look like a fool, but if the government acts to charge him for treason, PTI will end up making him a martyr.

Normally, they should be persecuted for their actions in Islamabad but in Pakistan, it means promotion to Shaheed which will backfire as it will ignite the dying interest. We cannot afford that either.

Suffice to say, as @That Guy said they are humiliated and disgraced. That's enough punishment for now.
