First and foremost lets applaud Pakistan Security Forces for their meritorious work and commitment in safeguarding The Country. This is a huge breakthrough and carried out skilfully.

Ex TTP spokesman has handed himself over to Pakistan Security Forces and conveyed vital information which further affirms RAW & NDS attempts on Pakistan region instability. This does not mirror great on India and Afghanistan, in addition ties the knot firmer regarding Kulbushan Yadhav.

One contemplates the question should Ehsanullah be excused from previous barbarism due to his resourceful confession and surrender or does he still qualify to some sort of accountability?

What question are you asking? you're poll asks if he is cleared of his crimes and your topic asks if you want to see him go to trial. Which is it?

It's the same question worded differently.

He was only the spokesman and he surrendered, so no. If he was to face trial, it was discourage more future surrenders from high-ranking terrorists.
so you're saying this terrorist should go scot free simply because he surrendered? have you no faith in our armed forces to kill the remaining off should they not surrender?
IMO this dude should be hanged as soon as possible and his body dropped over TTP hideouts to send a message.
scum of the earth like him don't deserve sympathy. You can't just literally kill people, then say "sorry i won't do it again I realized it was a mistake", and get away with it, that's not how it works.

He undoubtedly will try to make a deal to avoid the death penalty and I think even money he'll get it. Otherwise, no, he deserves a trial.

extract all the intel that we can from him and then give him a life sentence that way he will be facing punishment for his crimes(some psychologist holds the view that life sentence is fate far worse than death ) and won't be deterring other from surrendering due the fear of death.

this yay or nay type poll reminded me of our DSI prince superboy :cray:
