SHOCKING Tamil Nadu Police brutality! Cops raining blows on family members in full public view

Chennai: Police brutality at its worst in Tamil Nadu. The video shows how the helpless family – the couple and their son – was mercilessly thrashed in the middle of a busy market even as people watched in horror.

The incident reportedly took place near the old bus stand in Chengam town in Thiruvannamalai. Policemen were armed with sticks and are seen raining blows on a man, his wife and son.

I saw this video, gut wrenching how a guy got hit then the culprit just checked the damage on his vehicle and drove off.
As the man lay dying another guy came and stole his mobile phone. This happened in the Indian Capital in broad daylight with people around.

Some Police are bad in any part of the world. Recent cases in US also. This news is from 2011 which shocked Pakistan and world. So basically what does this thread imply???

That I also know and that's why I posted the link. Now what? Indian Police is the worst in the world?

Police in Both countries is least of politicians concern,our police is still a force of Raj mentality which obviously was made to suppress local population,it's in dire need of complete change.

police is brutal and corrupt in almost every state in India... nothing surprising.
I remember one incident in pune.. a lower caste man entered into apt compex and stole a laptop, apparently there was series of stealing in the complex so people were visilant enough to catch him.. proceeded to thrash him as any good samaritan in India will do, and then police took him... found dead next day in police lock up...
some low caste orgs did protest, not sure what happened to police... nothing changed I guess.

Most people avoid to help the victims in road accident as they will be harassed by polic in future and being asked to come to courts and police stations again and again ....but still how can a person move away after seeing that he or she can save a human life

This is apathy in essence, there was once a case, where a Policeman had his arms and legs chopped off by gangsters and he bled to death in the middle of the road.

Exactly, the policemen who thrashed are suspended and a criminal case running against them in court upon which they could be permanently dismissed and probably put behind bars.. Some Police are bad in every Country..

For anything and everything that happens which is wrong in India, your counter is Decline of Indian Society..?? Windy, why is it that you have so much hatred towards India..? We Indians will not do the same if something like that about pakistan is shared here which is a mistake of some culprits and not the whole society.. It really takes away the respect you deserve..
