A record of sort was created after the UP government, which advertised for 368 posts of peon in secretariat, got 23 lakh responses.

Note: I find this content both disturbing and painful. I am sure Pakistan or as a matter of fact whole South Asia is no exception to such high unemployment rate but graduates and PhDs are not worth it. If so many foreign companies are bringing business to India then why is that such highly educated people dont get the matching job but they have to apply for such posts?

.
two things, it also means anybody can get pg/mphil and second why should not they be coolie if they cant compete with normal graduates for jobs?

Well, Someone I know from India, who was a Ph.D holder from University of Canterbury, New Zealand working in a Petrol Pump in that country. So, this holds more so true with the people in their 30s and 40s from South Asia in developed countries. Besides, This Coolie post may be paying more than what our eyes could see. That may be why, the rush for this job.
