What's new

shekh haseena's gift to Modi

71 was, in my opinion, actually a good thing for Pakistan. BD should have been a separate nation from the beginning, and the way Pakistan was built upon it's birth, it was doomed to split into two in a civil war eventually. Even if Pakistan won 71, the split would have eventually occurred anyway. If anything, the split strengthened west Pakistan, and proved it's suspicions that India was seeking and continues to seek destruction of Pakistan.

On a side note, this continues to prove to me that Hasina is nothing more than an Indian stooge. BD has already fallen to India.

All this love and TLC was for 2 billion credit line......... Haseena must be smiling right now! :D

Why should they be embarrassed?

Before 47 -

Hindus, muslims, bengalis - All fought for free India.

In 47 -

Muslims, bengalis fought for Pakistan

in 71 -

Bengalis fought for BDesh

If you are not embarrassed for 47, why should they be for 71?

You do realise Bengalis include Hindus also livinf in India like Tagore, Subhash Bose, SP Mukherjee,... right?

nothing surprising here Awami league's politics main capital is their contribution to our war of liberation which in fact came due to stupidity of then military junta and Bhutto's lust for power .

Fall of Dhaka was not all the fault of West Pakistan. The Bengalis were conspiring with the Indians as far back as 1960. Whatever happened in 71 is part of history we ought to learn from. Bangladesh will never truly be a free country, Haseena's current govt came into power through a sham election paid for by the Indians. It was created to be an Indian vassal state and will remain so.

Many great nations have lost wars and much more but it doesn't stop them from moving on and becoming even more powerful. Its high time we say goodbye to South Asia and extend ourselves into Central Asia, Iran and Turkey.

Let us be honest man...It is extremely difficult be a nation with such a distance between its 2 parts...Think about a situation...
Pakistan will be weaker internally with Paksitan and BD together because the aspiration of Pakistan and BD was different and again distance is too big to maintain a continuity...And on top of that India would not have allowed any transit to BD without any good relation between India and Pakistan...

So think positive...It has given a scope to you to focous on whatever is real Pakistan feeling with the people you have today...and progress towards good future..

It so sad that Bangladesh is trying so hard to label itself as an enemy of Pakistan when no one even cares on the other end. After india now bangladesh is ready to thrive on anti Pakistan politics i guess.

Combined population of South Asia excluding Pakistan is 1.5 billion.
Combined GDP of South Asia excluding Pakistan is 2.63 Trillion dollars growing at a rate of more then 7 percent each year.
On the other hand, Combined population of Central Asia+Iran+Turkey is 215 millions and GDP is 1.48 trillion dollars. Many of their economies are stagnant or growing 2-3 percent at best.If you think Pakistan will gain more economic benefit by turning away from south Asia then good for you,and we will not miss you.:wave::wave:

It's only SHW/Awami League that is trying to cowtow to BJP/NaMo and their anti-Pakistan and supposed anti-Jihadi line. It works for both parties in both countries.

Place the Jihad boogeyman front and center and then the 'sheep' will get scared and vote for you in droves. Just like in the US.

However people in Bangladesh have gotten smarter beyond this. Note the relative ineffectiveness of extremist parties here.

The average person on the street in Bangladesh neither loves nor hates Pakistan or India. They are very level-headed about it. Its only the political parties that are making all the noise and false conundrum. In ten more years neither country will play largely in our political scenario except for cross-border 'constructive political engagements' such as water-sharing, trade and transit.

A hard lesson ... but Bangladesh fate was bound to be separate from Pakistan , if that wont happen in 71, than anytime , before 1999 .. its almost impossible to defend a land that far with no Land roads and re-supply routes.

You see, there in lies the problem - the idea that West Pakistan has to control and defend East Pakistan, as if the West is the center for power and East is the vassal state. 44 years, and it is quite evident that no lesson has been learnt.

Bye bye Bangladesh you are the 30th State of India

and there is mamta ji too lol

No mamta ji .. She is Didi...keep in mind.. Didi ..:lol:

Why should we be embarrased? Pakistan is not a satellite state of India. BD is the satellite state of India. No matter how much you sugar coat this. This is a fact.

Aray bhai satellite state hi banna tha to alag kyiun hoye thai. Needlessly so many people died in Bengal at the time of partition.
Suhrawardy's fault, millions had to pay for it.

lol thats what u think. In south asia curiously its the indian economy which is today 1.7 trillion out of 2.63 that u claim. And pakistan is not interested in india. The future natural resources and oil lies in the west of pakistan so why not? Also pakistan's own geographical location is very good and we can will transit to countries like we give to china who has just invested 46 billion in our country. And as far as resources r concern we have our own resources by which we can sustain by ourselves for the next 100-150 years. We are basically an indigenous country.

So i dont see any reason why we should not say goodbye to south asia for long term future.
