DHAKA, June 1, 2016 (BSS) - Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today expressed her happiness over the successful open-heart surgery of Pakistan Premier Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and wished his speedy recovery.

The Prime Minister expressed her happiness in a message sent to her Pakistan counterpart, PM's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim said.

"I was extremely worried about your illness that led you to undergo an open heart surgery in London," Sheikh Hasina said in the message.

"Nonetheless, I am now relieved and very happy to hear the news that the surgery was successful," she said.

The Prime Minister said: "I fervently hope that by the grace of the Almighty, you will come round soon...our prayers are always with you."

"May Allah bestow upon your family members the blessings of withstanding this trying time," she said.

Nawaz Sharif underwent the successful open-heart surgery at a London hospital on Tuesday.

Nawaz Sherif's health issue is interesting, it happened just after Panama leak.

All Pakistan haters are the friends of this moron.

Moron maybe. But he is Pakistan's legally elected Premier (or so it would seem to outsiders).

When we respect him - we are just showing our respect for Pakistanis themselves.

All Pakistan haters are the friends of this moron.

The cynicism is understandable given how posters here dislike their PM.

However, sending such messages are a matter of protocol & have nothing to do with likes or dislikes.
