Malala's presence , her mention and her publicity is constant slaps on the face of retarded ideology of Taliban
the scum who shoot unarmed civilians blow themselves up among students & medical staff have been beaten single handed by this girl.

I enjoy every moment of her publicity and can imagine the rage, the jealousy and stomach aches those taliban scum (men & women) get who have given Islam a demonic image.
dont forget that it was a LeJ woman who was the first to blow herself up in Quetta Bolan Medical college when she was seeking to kill Hazara female students and in the process she killed students from all the communities that was her destiny just like many female bombers who blow themselves up at shia gatherings or checkposts ...

because I believe in Allah's Justice so I am sure that the victims of taliban & these taliban scum will never be in the same place in the after life.

somehow western media tells us who to be proud of. Malala went thru this because of western media and people like you putting a spot light on here and making her a target. She is now safe in England why dont we pick another victim now and bring her in the spotlight, oh wait we cant but western media will tell us when and how and who.

Problem with Pakistan is we are extremist on two side, one is the religious extremists who shot malala and the other is the liberal extremists who made Malala, the later is no better than the former just read the views here they cant stand someone speaking his mind. This liberal extremists are so selfish and dangerous they dont even spare young girl and use them for their purposes. there was nothing special about Mallala she was a normal girl who wanted to go back to school after her school were burnt but then liberal extremists found a poster child to be used for their purpose and they did until she got shot. Can we leave the kids out of this and let them be kids

UN is a joke. Her speech would have had more impact if she did it in swat. WTF is the UN going to do? She should arrange meetings with the Taliban's and locals, only then change will happen.

Don't get me wrong mon ami, I was talking about the lack of infrastructure available with respect to the dire state of education and personally and I know this might sound wrong but I didn't expect a girl of her age to be this knowledgeable in comparison to teens in Canada. This speech also gives hope to me personally that imagine if Pakistan have the educational infrastructure, imagine how many Malala are there in your country that are not given the chance to receive education.
I mean these youth can literally change the image of Pakistan if given the chance so do not get me wrong, I did not mean to imply that Swat valley in Northern province had any sub human folks. I was simply referring to the likelihood of such a war torn place producing some one like Malala and Pakistan is lucky to have such talent and in future given the right policies, pakistan can be a big player in the global scene as far as scientific and technological breakthroughs in terms of potential.

She is given a platform to speak on women's right, I have seen enough of your comments to know that you secretly sympathize with the taliban and the very fact that you are denouncing her speech is pathetic and very counter productive to the spirit of ramadan, but hey continue supporting extremist while the innocent civilians lose their lives. Also next time you go to the bank, remember it is the evil western nations that have still propped up your economy and last time i remembered, your government begged the IMF for loans so be considerate and run your country's affairs better instead of blaming us here in the west for everything wrong in Pakistan.

That presupposes that it is something Pakistanis want -- and there is not sufficient evidence to suggest that it does - If you will note this "Motivation" does not rise out of Pakistan, it's people outside of Pakistan who see this potential and are hopeful of its use --

I agree with your statement, I was being stereotypical in the sense that a lot of pakistani folks at least in my local community tend to be more inclined towards heavy scientific fields and I assumed it was due to the Pakistani culture. As in comparison the other communities are not that hardcore about selecting sciences as a career path, I know it sounds wierd but literally every second Pakistanaise I have met is either a chemist, researcher or doctor though I am in engineering so I do not follow the stereotype technically ahahah. However seriously I thought it was part of Pakistan culture to encourage for children to go in scientific fields but I apologize as it is a stupid stereotype in my head and I do actually get annoyed everytime i meet a Pakistan decent doctor because I feel like there is more to the world than Science as far as careers :)

Precisely - but the important thing to note is that they are not in Pakistan and those that are, want out. As you read the comments of those who think of Malala as a traitor to Islam and as a tool of Western propaganda, you must be struck with how disconnected and clueless or misinformed such comments are - but do not be deceived, that these are representative of a very small minority - Pakistanis do not know what they want, they cannot justify what they want - the only thing they can justify is whatever they end up buying in the name of their religiosity (not religion) -- to find one's way out of the maze one must spend some time being lost in it.

Great point, I also find it somewhat strange that the religion is such a big deal in Pakistan as far as the importance of Islam and a logical inference that could make is that the country must be very civil as I find Islam to bring peace and harmony to the spirit(sorry in case i came of as super preachy). In contrast it is somewhat the opposite and in fact I find the religion to be heavily politicized to the point that I feel that politicians might simply just be using it as a tool to gain votes and the recent election results in Pakistan do not surprise me where all the right wing parties got elected into power. I am always saddened to see such a beautiful religion being abused by the followers, I think the folk may be missing the point that the goal of the religions and faith in general is to make oneself better instead what people may be doing is just trying to push their moral compass on others but who knows only time will tell.

This is an interesting statement and one that deserves a proper response, in fact monsieur I will rather write the response tomorrow though I will say though that outward appearance of religiosity(love this term mind if I use this term hopefully not copyright on this) and do not mistake this with 'religious' is interesting in sense that while it may be controversial, I feel that there is alot of truth in that. Forexample some of the so called folks in my extended family personally whip themselves physical in order to remind themselves about what happened nearly 1400 years ago to a great leader by name of Hussain in remembrance(grandson of messenger Muhammed). Also I am not debating whether the practice is right or not and I am not questioning this practice but if some one does not participate in this practice(I personally do not participate in this practice), there is this sense of lets say moral superiority that some of these folks have in their outlook to their fellow community practitioners, which is simply appalling and sad. I will close on this half sentence as I have to go eat for breakfast and also again if I come off as uber religious so do excuse me as I am trying to make this point at 3am in the morning and the lack of political correctness may appal non islamic followers so I do apologize to them.
