Yesterday Shahbaz Sharif once again failed to appear in the NAB on the ground of his vulnerability to COVID-19.
He had been ridiculed by everyone including me in respond to the Twit by Maryam Aurangzeb, the PMLN spokesperson. He travelled from London to Lahore during the COVID-19 Pandemic but cannot drive to few KM to NAB offices in Lahore.
But there is more sinister motive, tomorrow NAB's special Ordinance is expiring.
SS is trying to play the game that after the expiration of the Ordinance, he would be spared from the hands of NAB. Unless Government somehow extend the dates of the Ordinance.
People are also making fun of SS and other parties that he is wiling to go the NA but not to the NAB. SS and others opposition leaders are demanding the session of the NA immediately during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
The reason is very simple, they want to get rid of the NAB all together so they can be saved from the long hands of the law. In case of Pakistan, very very long hands of the law, which never catches the thieves.
