Emergency has been declared in Peshawar hospitals as relief efforts are underway.

At least 50 people have been killed and dozens have been injured in two suicide explosions near the Frontier Corps (FC) fort near Shabqadar.

After the explosion, security forces closed down the Shabqadar market and surrounded the area. More than 15 cars and 12 shops have been destroyed in the explosion.

According to sources, firing was heard after the first explosion, which was followed by a second explosion. Sources say that more than 35 officials were present on duty at the FC fort gate.

According to eyewitnesses, a motorbike rider blew himself up at the FC fort gate.

A twin bomb attack on a paramilitary force academy in north-western Pakistan has killed at least 69 people, police say.

A number of people were hurt in the blast at the training centre in Shabqadar, Charsadda district.

There are reports that two suicide bombers carried out the attack.

It is the bloodiest since US forces killed al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden in the town of Abbottabad, northern Pakistan, on 2 May.

Militant groups have pledged to avenge Bin Laden's death. However, no group has so far claimed responsibility for Friday's attack.

"There were two bomb blasts," Jahanzeb Khan, a senior police officer in Shabqadar, told the AFP news agency.

The attack happened as newly trained cadets were getting into buses for a short leave after their course, reports say.

Shabqadar lies on the border with Afghanistan, about 35km (22 miles) north-west of Peshawar.

In recent years, Taliban militants have killed hundreds people in bombings and other attacks across Pakistan.

Sad to note that even after expecting such attacks post OBL, the forces could not prevent this attack. Especially when it was targeted against the paramilitary forces.

May the dead rest in peace. God be with us all and with the families of the deceased.

Which side is Pakistan on? Terrorist? USA?

The time has come to pick a side

69 just died... which side do you think we are on?

I don't understand how easily US undermines our efforts in WOT. We have lost far more lives than US. are our lives not as precious as yours? Why do you people come up with the same question again and again?

RIP to innocent..
Pakistan should choose the side,Terrorist or rest of world, being on both side is dangerous.
