The second series-made multifunctional super-maneuverable fighter Su-35S performed the first flight in Komsomolsk-on-Amur.
A source in the military industrial complex reported this. The source said, "The flight continued for more than an hour. All assemblies and systems of the airplane worked in a failure-free mode." According to the source, after completion of the factory flight tests this airplane will be handed over to the Air Force. He adds that Russian Air Force will receive 48 multifunctional fighters Su-35S.
Prototype fighters Su-35S already performed more than 300 flights. The resource of the airplane is 6,000 flight hours, the service life is 30 years and the resource of the thrust vectoring engine is 4,000 hours.
