The past August's experiments seem to have borne fruit
We may see the plane in the UAE as well

Five nations are attending the US Air Force’s (USAF) light attack experiment taking place at Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico, according to USAF officials.

those nations are Australia, Canada, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Uruguay. Tunisia was scheduled to attend, but dropped out.

International attendance at the light attack experiment could signal possible interest in the aircraft flying in the experiment: Sierra Nevada Corp (SNC) and Embraer with their A-29 Super Tucano, Textron AirLand’s Scorpion attack fighter, Beechcraft’s AT-6 Wolverine, and Air Tractor and L3 Technologies’ AT-802L Longsword aircraft..

It will fill the gap between armed UAVs and fighter aircrafts..
This is part of the $110 billion deal, but no more than 24 Scorpion aircrafts will be needed..
