I think he will be disqualified IF supreme court does justice. It should be the same as it was in the case of Yousuf Raza Gillani.

very important hearing today !!

You are right. I think today will decide where the case is heading. If despite so many clear evidences, SC judges say that THEY NEED PROOFS, tou Allah Malik hai phir. Khair Allah tou har soorat main Malik hi hai.

Yes, they are. But who knows supreme court says that the there is no law to accept evidences through electronic means.. So the documents are inadmissible. I smell a rat here.

I think , if Supreme court decide against Nawaz sharif, They willl do same against Imran Khan because Imran khan has offshore company and he didn't show it in papers.. If this happens, i fear PPPP can win next election

Jeddah steel mill comes under fire at SC hearing on Panama Leaks

ISLAMABAD: A five-member larger bench headed by Chief Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali resumed the hearing of Panama Leaks case today (Wednesday).

The new legal team of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is presenting the case before the bench, after the party's appointed lawyer and senior party leader, Hamid Khan, excused himself from representing the party in the Panama Leaks case taken up by the Supreme Court.

Veteran lawyer Naeem Bukhari who replaced Hamid Khan as PTI's lead counsel. started off on a lighter note and told Justice Azmat Saeed, "It seems as today you will get angry at me."

To which Justice Azmat said, "Please present your case. And do not flatter me."

Bukhari said that the prime minister lied in his address to the nation and was involved in tax evasion. The lawyer further said that the son of the Prime Minister does not have an NTN number and Maryam Nawaz is dependent on the Prime Minister. Maryam Nawaz is the beneficiary owner of London flats, Naeem Bukhari said, adding that the trust deed of Maryam and Hussain Nawaz does not prove anything.

He added that NAB failed to perform its duty and has been trying to save the Prime Minister. He called for action to be taken against NAB chairman.

Justice Ijaz ul Hassan said that according to documents submitted the Prime Minister's children they invested 12 million Dirhams with the Qatar royal family.

He added there were discrepancies in the two speeches made by the prime minister and the documents submitted in the court.

Justice Khosa said that in the speech it was said that the investment was used by the Prime Minister's children.

Jeddah factory comes under discussion

Bukhari said that a Jeddah factory was bought in 2007 and the London flats were bought before this.

Justice Azmat Saeed said that the documents submitted by the Prime Minister's children only speak about the Dubai steel mill but do not mention where investment for the Jeddah Steel Mill came from. He said that the documents also don't mention that the investment was used to purchase the London flats.

Naeem Bukhari asked if the it had been mentioned that loan had been taken from banks for the Jeddah factory.

"How did he get loan from Saudi banks?" Justice Ijaz ul Hassan asked. "How much was the Jeddah factory sold for?"

Bukhari said that it has been stated that in June 2004 the factory was sold for $17 million. He added that the prime minister had said that he had submitted all documents in the court.

Justice Azmat Saeed said that the documents might be available everywhere but they have not been submitted in the court.

Bukhari said that the London flats were bought in 1992 and 1993.

Justice Asif Saeed Khosa said that these were the sources of income through which the London flats were bought. He added that two different documents submitted by Tariq Shafiq there had no similarities in the signatures.

Naeem Bukhari said that Shahbaz Sharif had forged that Tariq Shafiq's signature.

How did Tariq Shafiq transfer money to Qatar, Justice Asif Saeed Khosa asked.

Naeem Bukhari told the court that prime minister had lied and hid evidence, therefore he is neither Sadiq nor Ameen, and should disqualified.

The court will resume the hearing after a short break.

Did PTI legal still not bring issue of Qatari prince letter and kashif masood qazi today? Anyone, who followed the proceedings today, please tell... So, will SC resume its hearing again today? Was there any reference to kashif masood qazi and his documents in the court today?
