The least we can do is appreciate the people who stand up to such crimes. Isn't it what the a progressive community is supposed to do? support what is right. Or you think that speaking up against corruption is not right?

My previous post was simply realistic. Speaking up all you want, it goes nowhere, since the society-at-large in Pakistan is not progressive at all. It is a closed, regressive and repressive society by overwhelming choice.

I though we were discussion how good or how useless that woman's behavior was. For me, it was great.

So it was cathartic for that woman to let off some steam, which I have already acknowledged, but it is nothing more than that. A harbinger of social change it ain't, just like the previous hype about how Mr. Hussain's video will end VIP culture in Pakistan. That is not pessimism, but reality, correctly described.
