I don't say they only put them under the wing , I mean why they also put them under the wing , these panels are not that thick to take all the space in the wing so their back can be seen from the lower part
As this picture shows, they did not put solar panels under the wing.
Instead the solar panels you see from the bottom are the same as the ones on the top.
